Combining acupuncture with IVF increases the successful pregnancy rate by more than double!
Several research articles are now clearly indicating a hugely higher rate of success of IVF when doing fertility acupuncture in conjunction with the standard IVF protocol.
A study done by Homerton University Hospital in London showed that by giving acupuncture once a week for four weeks during IVF treatment, there was a 46.2% pregnancy rate compared to the non-acupuncture group who had a 21.7% pregnancy rate. So more than double the chance of pregnancy by combining acupuncture with IVF.
